Amazing food and wine list. Outstanding service from this young italian waiter that we had in a busy friday night. Best italian restaurant in SB. Dont miss it!

Absolutely wonderful evening...

We were enjoying Santa Barbara for our 26th anniversary and we wanted a good Italian restaurant. We studied this site to try and find just the "right"place to have our Italian dinner. The first place we decided on was closed and under remodeling construction... Turns out to be a blessing because our second choice, Tre Lune, turned out to be magnificent. We showed up on a busy Saturday night without a reservation and Nikki was kind enough to get us a great table..Then we met Lily who took tremendous care of us. What I wanted was not on the menu but the chef nailed it for me. My wife LOVED her lasagna. Our night could not have been better. Highly recommend this great restaurant. :)

Perfect anniversary dinner experience
Reviewer: Mrs. M. from Santa Barbara, CA
We visited Tre Lune last night for our one year anniversary and we could not have been more pleased. The service was great and our server was very attentive and pleasant. We each had a caesar salad to start, and the salad was so yummy (and very big!) Hubby had the salmon with capers, which he said was delicious. I had the spinach and riccotta ravioli which was fabulous. Our server surprised us with a complimentary tiramisu (delicious!) after dinner and congratulated us on our anniversary, which was very unexpected and very nice of him. Our evening at Tre Lune was just perfect. We will absolutely be back!!

Absolutely wonderful

We had pasta and minestrone, and were very pleased with the quality and taste.

Ok food and fast food restaurant service
Reviewer: Chi Lin from Santa Barbara, CA
We tried this restaurant because the reviewes on this site are mostly good comments. However, the service and food of this restaurant is over price. The server just took order and bring us food. There is a bus boy however you need to keep asking for water still. No one really came check on you, even people sat next to us felt the same way. it took a while to get the food. The food looked good but taste ok. I will not recomand this place for breakfast.

If the greasing falls offf...
Reviewer: Marsha from Santa Barbara, CA
Such a disappointment...ordered veal parm and the breading fell offf...the dish was not flavorful at all....normally you get a side of pasta but this was served with one new potato, a yellow beet and green beans. Overpriced (30.00) for such a disappointing entry.

Decent food / mediocre service at best
Reviewer: Michael Biancone from Santa Barbara, CA
I fully expected (and wanted!) to have a great dinner experience. Instead, it was rather disappointing. I was confident with my restaurant choice for the group. The food is definitely good, not outstanding. The Antipasti was very nice & flavorful. I finally had the coveted Lasagna with lamb ragout. Yum. The service is mediocre at best. I started with a glass of juice, followed by a beer and then a glass of wine with dinner... none of the empty glassware or bottle was cleared until we were finished with dinner. Three entrees were brought out (before our empty first course plates were cleared)... then we sat there waiting for the 4th entree to be served . At least they knew who was getting which dish, that was a plus. Nobody checked back to see if the food was OK... again, restaurant 101. Perhaps they didn't care. No one thanked us for our visit, nor did they ask for a return visit... then again, they are always busy, and so probably do not care. That is a shame in a town overrun with mediocre restaurants.... it would be so easy for Tre Luna to rise above the crowd.

A perfect lunch!

My sister and I met for lunch and sat at a cafe table outside. The Montecito weather was perfect. The staff was friendly. We split the wild mushroom pizza and split the squash blossom salad. Delicious all the way around. The iced tea was good too! A little pricey for lunch, but nothing priced more than comparable food in my own town. I would go again...and again.

Nice Coast Village Formula
Reviewer: Brendon Gerrard from Santa Barbara, CA
This was my first visit to Tre Lune & I left very happy with the entire experience. The decor is playful, from the vintage photos to the mini chairs which line the walls & there is a nice buzz in the restaurant with the steady flow of regular locals. Dimming the lights a touch would only have added to the ambiance. The service is attentive, educated & well trained without the rigidity of many neighboring Coast Village eateries. Gabriel was on-point with his recommendations & his knowledge of a very large menu was impressive (perhaps 7 chicken entrees is a few too many). The pizza appetizers are rustic & tasty while the calamari plate with prawns is one of the most generous in town. My Wild Boar Penne was salty & delicious as it should be. The Lobster Ravioli special which I believe had some form of mint pesto inside was an interesting twist. All in all, I would say Tre Lune have a nice formula, very fitting for Coast Village Road - well worth a visit every once in a while...
