The brothers know how to do it well., 6/14/2015

We have enjoyed meals at Mattei's Tavern (when the brothers were there), at Sides Hardware, and now at the Red Barn. Each time, one of the brothers was in the kitchen and, I am sure, that is a big reason for their success. The meals are
always beautifully prepared and plated. The house made apple compote on my grilled pork chop is an example of a detail they design into their meals. Their service is also attentive without being obsequious, and we enjoyed the relatively low noise levels, though the restaurant was quite busy. If you are feeling like a nice drive to and from dinner, this restaurant is a worthy candidate.
