Fun and authentic like a bit old Baja
Reviewer: Brad T. Miller from Santa Barbara, CA
Go to the walk up window for lunch and order 2 Baja style soft tacos. There are about 6 or 7 choices from chicken, beef, tounge, goat and pork. At $1.35 each they are great, fast, authentic. Rural Mexico atmosphere and motif with a freindly lady at the window that will try to teach you Spanish. It reminds me of a place I used to go to when in Ensinada on race and surf weekends

its very good
Reviewer: Briana from goleta,C.A
My teachers father owns this restruant. And i heard it is always crowded and it is a very good place to eat! So i dont know why people are talkin crap about it! And plus they dont even sell tortugas anymore! And the transvestites dont even hangout infront of or inside the restruant anymore, and they are not aloud to sell themselves at the restruant or bother the custamers in any kind of way. But they are aloud to go in and eat there if they wanted to! And i dont think the owner should sell it i think he is doing a very good job from what i hear!

I´ll have a "tortuga"

The food here is somewhat iffy. They have these things called "tortugas" which consist of a hard shelled tortilla with fried meat and cheese inside. Mine was so hard and stale I threw it away, however it looked like if you get there when they are freshly made, they would be tasty. Besides that, this place is a bit sketchy. There are transsexual prostitutes that hang out there and at the corner of Haley street on most any given night.
