Hi Restaurant Guy,
My son and I dined at Finch and Fork recently. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and delicious. We tried the deviled eggs and hamachi crudo for appetizers and the fried chicken Tuesday night special for my son and I tried the catch of the day which was a lovely halibut with a curry sauce. The dish had greens and sweet potato cubes in the sauce. The halibut was perfectly cooked and delicious. I haven’t seen many write ups for this restaurant but it’s worth a shout out. They have specials every night throughout the week. Mondays locals get a 20% discount on the bill. I would like to see them more busy but then it was a Tuesday evening.

FAN FEEDBACK: FINCH & FORK

Great write up Susie. I couldn’t agree more! Finch & Fork is so often overlooked as one of the better restaurants downtown, and their pricing is far better than most on “The Grand Paseo” Whether its $28 for the toaster oven “Artisan” pizza, or a $40 chicken parm, maybe even the $45 crab cake for 2 (u mean, 2 crab cakes for $45) never understand the desire to shell out that kind of money for mediocre/overpriced food, while sitting on a plywood plank or a Home Depot Gazebo, when there is far better food and service just around the corner. Oh well, win win for Susie!
Funny to see this post, just last week a co-worker and I were talking about Finch & Fork and how good it is, but how it falls off the radar and is forgotten about as an option. I honestly probably haven’t been there in close to 10 years, but for a while I was going about once a month at least for lunch or something. I don’t know if it’s an advertising issue with them or not, but F&F definitely is lost in the SB restaurant scene in my opinion.
