Sources tell me that the building at 532 State Street, where Yona Redz has been, is being sold and that Yona Redz plans to move up the street next to their Santa Playa Mariscos that is coming soon to 1230 State Street. I was sent a photo of a sign posted outside Yona Redz that reads “Re-locating! Sorry we are temporarily closed!” Reader Christine_Z28 forwarded me this IG message from the restaurant:
Yona Redz is moving to a bigger location! Stop by and help sell us out this week. Our last day of operation is Labor Day 9/2. We are leaving the 500 block for the 1200 block of State St. We will close until further notice for new remodel and menu upgrade!
Yona Redz will be located next to our New Mexican seafood restaurant @santa_playa_mariscos opening very soon follow Instagram for updates, menu, new content etc.
