Writer George Yatchisin at the Santa Barbara Independent says that an immersive evening of entertainment is coming to Santa Barbara this September 12-14 as part of a touring show called the “Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy.” Yatchisin says that attendees of the Poe Speakeasy will enter the fully set-designed space in the Funk Zone and step into a macabre world where costumed actors/mixologists will present four of Poe’s most beloved stories/poems. The event will be held at the Narrative Loft, 1 N. Calle Cesar Chavez, #240.
