Last July I broke the news that Foxtail Kitchen at 14 East Cota Street was planning to close and the owner, Falah Maayah, would replace it with a new concept. His new creation, Petra Cafe which serves Jordanian cuisine, is now open. The eatery offers dine-in, take-out, and a hookah patio. Hours are Tuesday-Saturday 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Visit foxtailsb.com

Hookah patio? To avoid indoor non smoking laws? I’ll never patronize. Hope they fail fast.
