Reader Steve H. let me know that Nick Bodden, who owns Revolver Pizza on the west side of Santa Barbara, has canceled plans to open a second restaurant name Linden Hall in Carpinteria, in the former home of Senor Frogs. The original plan was to open last summer and I am told the equipment had been purchased, employees had been hired, but a delay in receiving permits closed his window of opportunity.

The kitchen looks built out in the photo. Building permits for what?
A city government gets in the way of another local business and permitting???
I’m shocked, shocked I say!
