Cookie Plug, first announced here last August, opens this week at 918 State Street, the former home of The Good Cup. The grand opening is Saturday, February 10th at noon through Sunday, February 11th at noon. “We are ready to open our doors for a delicious new unique downtown cookie store that is family-friendly and includes Keto & Doggy Cookies!” says owner Annette Rodriguez. “There’s nothing cookie-cutter about Cookie Plug! We sell the most unique cookie stacks that anyone has to offer. Part cookie, part cake, and part brownie – our warm cookie stacks are baked fresh daily and will also be available for delivery. Delicious flavors, combinations, and additional goodies that are a must try.” The first 50 customers will receive freebie swag/cookies when they open doors for the grand opening and ribbon cutting. During the grand opening, when you buy 4 cookies, you get 8 cookies for free. The dessert destination will be open 7 days a week. Cookie Plug is the sister business to Double Down Delivery. wht does the name mean tho? Plug?
Plug is urban slang for a “dealer.”
FYI, you’re link has an extra “o” in cookie! Looks like it will be a great addition to SB, stoked to check out the keto cookie!
Thanks! Fixed!
Plug: drug dealer. Especially for large quantities.
Alongside Me So Hungry in the pantheon of uncomfortable restaurant names
On my list were: Beaver Tail Pastry and Bad Ass Coffee, which were around about the same time and I thought sounded even worse together
Bad Ass Coffee really leaned into it by selling Donkey Balls
