Reader Primetime passed the word that The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at the Santa Barbara Airport, which opened in November 2011 and was the last local outlet for the chain, has closed and been replaced by the Santa Barbara Roasting Company. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf location in Goleta closed this month, State Street closed in 2021, and De la Vina and Carpinteria locations closed in 2020.
