SANTA BARBARA PIZZA HOUSE OPENS

The former home of Patxi’s Pizza, which closed at 515 State Street last July, is the new home of Santa Barbara Pizza House. “Grand Opening!” says owner Erin Khodabandehlou. “Right in the heart of beautiful Santa Barbara. Making both deep dish and Neapolitan-style pizzas, and an array of appetizers and salads. Everything is fresh and made to order. Give us a try, you will be blown away!” Reader Primetime tells me he spoke with the owner and that several of the pizzas are named after local streets. I am told that Khodabandehlou is an accomplished, long-time Santa Barbara caterer as well as the previous manager of the former Patxi’s.

good luck to the new owner. with the large space also comes a very high rent. probably around $20,000 this means a lot of expensive pizzas. the deep pockets from SF couldn’t make it work. really hope new omer can make it

We all hope she makes it! Such a great location and Erin K, the new owner, is sharp. I wish her all the best. (she’s even providing complimentary pizza’s for the Santa Barbara Laugh Festival performers at the Red Piano this week). Way to go and get the ZA out!
