Chef Nathan Peitso’s new Solvang restaurant and bar project, Juniper on Fourth  is now open, bringing with it the best of Santa Barbara County’s dining and cocktailing scenes at approachable prices, served with a smile in a stylish, family-friendly atmosphere.

Juniper on Fourth will be open for LUNCH + DINNER, and COCKTAILS, Friday through Tuesday (closed Wednesday and Thursday). The restaurant and bar features indoor / outdoor dining with a focus on what’s fresh, local, fun and family-forward. The new, open-air Tap Garden welcomes guests with signature cocktails on tap, beer, and wines by the glass, while the indoor bar will also offer a full cocktail list.

At lunch, guests can expect sandwiches, salads, and bar bites, which are served all day. Dinner will also feature heartier composed plates, and a kids menu will be available during lunch and dinner.

A sampling of Juniper on Fourth lunch menu items includes the likes of Swedish meatballs (potato purée, gravy, lemon herb salad), also available as a Swedish meatball sandwich; a Juniper tri-tip sandwich; a brisket grilled cheese (American, Gruyere, and white cheddar cheeses, caramelized onions, salsa mojo); and a Juniper on Fourth signature cheeseburger. Dinner plates include items such as smoked quail; “Artemisia Lamb” (roasted carrots, Jerusalem succotash, artemisia, chimichurri); and both a “Little Fish” (currently King Salmon) and “Big Fish” offering (whole fried, local rockfish with achiote, house-made tortillas, slaw, salsa verde).

Simple, soulful desserts include a fruit cobbler with homemade ice cream, sundaes with seasonal accoutrements, or house-made panna cotta.

In addition to Juniper’s full bar, a rotating selection of tap cocktails will always be available, promoting consistency in the mixology platform. Guests can expect drinks such as a tequila- and mezcal-based concoction with hibiscus nectar and lime, as well as Juniper on Fourth variations of classic cocktails.

Juniper on Fourth’s new beverage program will be crafted by General Manager, Julio Peñuela, a seasoned hospitality professional with an illustrious work history in both restaurant and hotel management. Peñuela’s dedication to the guest experience has earned him a reputation as a leader in his field.

Lunch: Fri-Tues, 11am – 4pm
Dinner: Fri-Tues, 5pm – 9pm
Bar: Open late
