“Social Eats has opened in Isla Vista in the former South Coast Deli location.  The place was pretty hoppin’ last Friday night.  There are different food categories (burgers, noodles, sushi rolls) that are sort of branded to look as if they were separate businesses (with separate names like “Pop’s Burgers” and “Street Noods”), but they’re all on the same menu and ordered at the same counter, so it’s pretty much just a normal eatery with an eclectic menu.”
