In August 2022 I broke the news that a restaurant named Silvers Omakase is coming to 224 Helena Avenue, the former home of Seven Bar & Kitchen. It will be a sushi shop run by Michelin-honored chef Lennon Silvers Lee who used to helm Sushi Bar Montecito. Earlier this year I peeked in the window and no construction had started. I looked again recently and construction is now underway. I estimate it will open sometime early next year, assuming of course that construction is ongoing.
