Two weeks ago Anchor Rose restaurant at 113 Harbor Way started a weekend brunch. The menu includes:
HUEVOS RANCHEROS: Crispy corn tortilla, refried beans, chorizo and eggs. Topped with salsa casera, made with yellow chiles, melted cheese, guacamole and sour cream. Served with fresh fruit.
CRAB CAKE BENEDICT: Poached eggs with crab cakes on a coasted English muffin, copped with hollandaise sauce. Served with fresh fruit.
SPRING VEGETABLE QUICHE: Baked pastry filled with seasonal vegetables and egg, copped with cheese and tomato. Served with mixed greens and blackberry vinaigrette.
EGGS BENEDICT: Poached eggs and Canadian bacon on a coasted English muffin, topped with hollandaise sauce.
