CAVES & DOM’S

My 8-year-old son is a fan of the 1960s TV show “Batman” and has been bugging me to take him to the real Batcave that the Batmobile would zoom in and out of throughout the series. So this week we finally visited the area, officially known as Bronson Canyon.

As luck would have it, near this landmark is the flagship home of Little Dom’s in Los Feliz that I had never been to. The eatery has a second location in Carpinteria that I have visited numerous times. The restaurant has an eclectic menu and I ordered the Little Dom’s Burger (Ground Chuck & Short Rib Burger with Burrata, Pickled Green Tomato & Wild Boar Bacon on Brioche Bun) which was terrific. The Batboy had a side dish of pasta.

I had to take my son there when we lived in Hollywood. I’m so delighted to see it’s still there and no graffiti! Batman abides.
