In September 2021 reader Brendan let me know that Belching Dragon Tavern is coming to 800 State Street, the former home of Starbucks and Weston’s Camera, at the corner of State and De la Guerra. I stopped by the other day and noticed that the property appears to still be in early stage renovation. I had read that there was a dispute over the alcoholic beverage permit that they were acquiring which likely contributed to the delay.
