Cuyama Buckhorn, a roadside inn & restaurant at 4923 Primero Street in New Cuyama, is partnering with Santa Barbara’s La Paloma Cafe for a weekend celebrating the coast and the valley of Santa Barbara County. The weekend, taking place Friday, March 3 – Sunday, March 5, 2023, will include:
– Cocktail-making class with La Paloma’s lead bartender and Mezcal expert Jorge Báez
– Guided Mezcal tasting with Jorge Báez
– Seminar with Travis Meyer of Travis Haha Fishing, teaching the Ikejime method of preparing fish
– 5-course sea-centric chef collaboration dinner with Chefs Jeremy Tummel (La Paloma Cafe) and Daniel Horn (Cuyama Buckhorn)
– Screening of “Becoming Cousteau” followed by a Q+A with filmmaker Mark Monroe
– Live music, bonfires, and more
