ITALIAN EATERY REPLACING TAMIRA

This just in from reader Steve H.:

Ciao, John,

For the Crystal Ball:

A trattoria will open at 1027 State Street, the former home of Tamira Indian food. This will result in side-by-side Italiano restaurants, as it is next to the relatively new L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele. And right across the street from OPPI’Z and Chase, for that matter.

P.S. Here’s a picture of me cooking in a genuine, REAL Italian restaurant on the island of Ischia last fall:

Love your posts. Keep um coming….and oh, by the way, I don’t think we could ever have too many Italian restaurants here in SB. We just need a few more “French” restaurants, in my opinion…that are affordable.

We need a good BBQ restaurant – Johnny’s was the best.
