The Lark and Executive Chef Jason Paluska will present a special Independence Day BBQ Celebration on Monday, July 4 from noon – 3:30 p.m at 131 Anacapa Street. The informal holiday menu includes Smoked Duroc Pulled Pork Sliders with California Peach BBQ, Bourbon-Pickled Jalapeno, Classic Slaw & Crispy Shallots Rings; Jason’s Throwback Lark Deviled Eggs with Creme Fraîche, Fallot Dijon, Espelette, Smoked Trout Roe & Crispy Pancetta; Fried Green Heirloom Tomatoes with Aerated Buttermilk, Texas Tornado Hot Sauce, Grilled Lemon & Chive; and Grilled Brentwood Corn on the Cob with a Garlic Butter Bath, Chili Dust, Sonoma Dry Jack Cheese & Basil. Guests can order at the bar and dine in at The Lark’s communal table, bar, on the patio or parklet. The BBQ is open to the public and does not require reservations. All food and beverages are for purchase à la carte; pricing ranges from $4-16. The Lark will also be open for full-service dining from 5-8:00 p.m. with their traditional à la carte seasonal menu. Reservations for dinner are recommended in advance.
