Mariscos Tita’s ends plans to take over former Wingman Rodeo space

Last January I wrote that Mexican seafood restaurant Mariscos Tita’s is coming to 5892 Hollister Avenue in Goleta, the former home of Wingman Rodeo, Gimeal Cafe, and The Natural Cafe. Recently reader Scott sent me this message: “Mariscos Tita’s were looking like they were making fast progress at the old Wingman Rodeo location. Then it all seems to have stopped. They had put up their sign, which is now down and removed planters, etc, that they had installed. Just curious.” I spoke with the owners of Mariscos Tita’s and they said they have decided that they won’t be opening at that address and are in the process of looking for another location. Their to-go business continues as usual. Call (805) 636-5272 or visit mariscostitas.vip

They seem to be really working their food truck, I’ve seen recent posts on FB that they are/will be at Centennial and then Draughtsmen soon.
