Reader Kim sent me a tip that Vietnamese restaurant Phoevermore at 1017 Casitas Pass Road in Carpinteria has closed. A message to you from management: “To all our friends and neighbors, with a heavy heart we had no choice but to close indefinitely. We appreciate all your love and support through the years!” Owner Ron Thai opened the eatery in October 2016.

You will be missed! Great food, loved coming here or ordering pickup regularly!
Bummer! Was nice to have some sort of different food option in Carp other than pizza and mexican food. Family is really nice, hopefully they can find another place. It was just a little too far off the beaten path for tourists, and the picky locals won’t keep you open year round.
agree. so many restos that are tacos, pizza, burgers, burgers, pizza, tacos. That’s SB in a nutshell
