Last July I wrote that six new restaurants are coming to the Turnpike Center in Goleta. Businesses include Dave’s Drip House ice cream shop (run by the founder of Dave’s Dogs), Kin Bakeshop, Jersey Mikes, and a yet to be announced business will be run by Chris Chiarappa, the visionary and inspiration for Mesa Burger, and other local eateries. Reader Rambo says Chiarappa’s venture will be another Lighthouse Coffee which has locations at 1819 Cliff Drive and 711 Chapala Street.
