I am craving two things from Mom’s Italian restaurant that was on E. Cota Street in Santa Barbara? the pickled onions she served on the salads. Plus her minestrone soup; it got better everyday. Does anyone have these recipes and is willing to share them?
There are so many restaurants that I went to when I lived there that have closed and unfortunately I don’t have the recipes. For example, Casa Blanca, on lower State St. (the warm sauce that they put on top of their tostadas), Boston Clam Chowder from The Fish Enterprise, and Jimmy’s Oriented Garden’s egg rolls.
