Mr B Restaurant & Cafe coming to La Cumbre Plaza

Reader Eric let me know that Mr B Restaurant & Cafe is coming to La Cumbre Plaza at 140 South Hope Avenue in the former home of Pizza Mizza which closed in October 2018. I have confirmed that the business is on the way and will provide details as they become available. A peek inside reveals that it is a virtual time capsule of how Pizza Mizza looked on closing day minus the seats and artwork, suggesting that opening day for Mr B is a long way off unless they intend to reuse the furnishings which still look terrific.

    Turn key restaurant in a B minus location or gutting it and doing a complete remodel…..in a B minus location.

    I’m guessing they’re going to use the existing FF&E.
