National Food Truck Day

This month, for more than 30,000 food trucks across the country, National Food Truck Day will have a special significance as a symbolic day for the industry to celebrate its resiliency and to let the world know they are back. This National Food Truck Day, join the Roaming Hunger organization in saying ‘Thank you’ to this small army of entrepreneurs.

Roaming Hunger is inviting everyone to support and eat from their favorite food truck the week of June 20 through June 27, with a special emphasis on Friday, June 25th, which is National Food Truck Day. More than 30,000 food trucks across the country are participating by providing endless deals and discounts.

“This year is about celebrating the individual stories of the men and women that make up the mobile food industry,” says Ross Resnick, Founder and CEO of Roaming Hunger. “These entrepreneurs are local heroes in their communities, and many of their stories are heartwarming and inspiring. We’re inviting everyone to go out and make National Food Truck Day about supporting these amazing small businesses that make life delicious for us every single day.”

Didn’t SB “ban” food trucks? Could we get suggestions on which ones to visit and where they are located, if they do exist?

Why do govt overlords dictate that trucks can and cannot serve food? Who/what gave them this absolute power?
