After a four-year run Dunkin’ Donuts closed last December on upper State Street which is also the former home of Taco Bell and Char West. Reader Annie tells me that green fencing has gone up around the property and that there are lots of work trucks onsite.

Does anyone know for sure if it’s closed for good or if it’s just closed for maintenance?
All the equipment was removed
But… but… wouldn’t they have to move out equipment to remodel?
They spent a year remodeling before they opened 4 years ago with new kitchen, new walk-in freezer, new dining room, new office, and new exterior. But corporate website says closing is temporary so maybe they decided to remodel their remodel.

Maybe the SB market can move there and bring back the cheese place? Instead of pizza, hamburgers, tacos, and pizza in SB.
