Reader Ashrith tells me that Corazón Guisados restaurant, offering homemade Guisados, Tamales and Churros, is coming to East Victoria Street, the former home of Ca’Dario Pizzeria. This will be owner Ramon Velazquez’s third local eatery. He operates Corazon Cocina locations in the Santa Barbara Public Market and on State Street in the Funk Zone.

I am a Santa Barbara local born and raised. My parents were in the restaurant business for over 25 years. I was born in to the business and I have only respect and admiration for the hard work that goes into owning a restaurant. Ramon at Corazon is a super talented chef but you need to also be book smart to run and operate a restaurant.
i don’t get what you’re trying to say beverly?
love corazon’s food, one of the only restaurants in sb with food inventive enough to compare with big cities. hopefully this concept features a lot of new recipes.
