Intermezzo reopens

Reader Primetime says that the lights are back on at the famous Intermezzo, 813 Anacapa Street, in Santa Barbara’s Presidio Neighborhood. I am told that there is a new menu, decor, spacing, and upgrades in the famous patio next to the iconic Wine Cask which is set to open in 2021. Pricing is about $6 – $29 and the restaurant/bar officially opens at 4 p.m. The voicemail for Intermezzo still says they are closed because of COVID-19 but photos taken October 9 suggest otherwise.

Speaking of the pandemic, Santa Barbara County says it has moved into the RED TIER of the COVID-19 restrictions which allows restaurants, museums, theaters and places of worship to open with limited inside capacity.
