The hospitality team behind S.Y. Kitchen, has officially opened their newest restaurant and bar concept, Nella Kitchen & Bar in Los Olivos. The new wine country venture headed by executive chef and owner / partner Luca Crestanelli will, at the start, offer daytime dining via “The Farm & Cheese Bar” – with a lengthy cheese list and a curated charcuterie plate. The eatery offers a wine list featuring both local and world wines, and craft and classic cocktail variations. Nella Kitchen & Bar is sourcing as much as possible from nearby California Central Coast locales, such as the restaurant’s charcuterie and sausages which come from San Luis Obispo-based Alle-Pia Fine Cured Meats.
Nella Kitchen & Bar’s initial hours are 4-8 p.m., Thursday through Monday (closed Tuesday and Wednesday). Next in Nella Kitchen & Bar’s soft opening phase, the restaurant will reveal its open-kitchen concept serving scratch-made, Roman-style pizza, or “Pinsa”. Once able to do so, the restaurant and bar will launch full lunch and dinner service.
Nella Kitchen & Bar, located at the Fess Parker Wine Country Inn, 2860 Grand Avenue in Los Olivos, is a collaboration between the restaurant team and the Fess Parker Family. The restaurant will eventually provide all food and beverage for the hotel’s pool area, as well as room service and take-away options for hotel guests. All private events booked at the Inn will be catered by Nella Kitchen & Bar.
