Farewell to Fosters Freeze

Reader Primetime reports that Carpinteria icon Foster Freezeā€™s final day was
August 23 with long lines and many customers getting their final dipped cones, burgers, shakes and that retro feel from days gone by. Fosters Freeze closed on the Mesa in March 2010 leaving Ventura as the closest outlet now. The Carpinteria property will soon be the home of farm-to-table restaurant The Good Plow.
