Petros Kafe which moved from Santa Barbara in 2017 to 487 Atterdag Road in Solvang has closed for good. I am rarely notified by an establishment that their last meal has been served so often I have to gather information from a variety of sources to come to that conclusion. In this case the clues are: their website is down, their phone is disconnected, Yelp says Petros is closed permanently, and Open Table says Petros is closed permanently. In early May 2020 Petros put out an announcement on Facebook about specials being offered so the closure must have been relatively recent. Consider visiting Yanni’s Deli at Mackenzie Market, 3102 State Street, for great Gyros.

Petros closed before the Covid19 shutdown. I had lunch there Feb 21 which I think was the Friday of their last weekend. My last grilled octopus meal. (Sad face.) The location is now home to Peasant’s Feast.
Interesting. Their Facebook page implies that they were still serving meals on May 8. They must be referring to Manhattan Beach.

Petros is definitely gone. A new restaurant opened in the location during the Covid19 shutdown.
