“Good morning – passing this info on for the Restaurant Guy section of your paper.  Oku officially opened yesterday [in the old El Torito/España space at 29 East Cabrillo Boulevard].

I happened to be walking by on the bike path and noticed them setting up, so swung over.  Very impressive!  Extensive drink and food (sushi + filet Mignon, ribs, etc) menu.  2 bars, 2 floors, 2 outdoor patios.  Outdoor fireplace and couches with great views.  Seating for 180 they said.
