Reader Primetime says that the Goleta Coffee Company at 177 South Turnpike Road has new owners and that they’re going to be adding a special gluten-free kitchen soon.

In addition to a non gluten-free kitchen? Celiac is less than 1% of the population. Are they also going to make a third peanut free kitchen? And a 4th that’s kosher?
Well their “kitchen” previously only made breakfast bagels/burritos and sandwiches I believe. I saw most of the burrito being made in the microwave and the rest was probably done with toasters/panini press.
Despite that, they were quite delicious 🙂
What is it with trying to please everybody these days???
Just offer a great Product that you believe in!
And unless your facility is dedicated to producing strictly gluten free (or free of whatever) products you CAN NOT guarantee that they actually are in fact gluten FREE!
Oh bummer the previous owner was so sweet and always had a welcoming personality and great attention to details. I hope the new owners follow in her footsteps!

New owners are also really nice. They installed a water filter and retrained the staff and now the coffee
