ELEVEN14 OPENS IN LA ARCADA

Americana gastropub Eleven14 Craft House and Kitchen has opened in La Arcada Court at 1114 State Street, the former home of Viva Santa Barbara, Cielito, Stateside, and Acapulco. Fans of Viva Santa Barbara will notice that some of the menu carried over including the Shrimp & Crab Enchiladas, Baja Fish Tacos, and Fajitas. The Poke Tuna Tacos are now Poke Tuna Nachos. During Happy Hour (Monday-Friday 3:14-6:14 p.m., and all day Sunday) the homemade flat breads, burgers, and bottles of wine are half price. Soon it will include half off the house beer. Bar Manager Nathan Galeano tells me that that the Crafthouse Marg margarita (Blanco tequila, lime, agave) is one of the most popular drinks they serve. Eleven14 has 16 beers on draft, and all of them (from tap to brewery) will be locally sourced, no farther than 2 hours away.

The burgers and sandwiches range in price from $10-14 and include the 1114 Burger, Bacon Burger, Truffle Mushroom Burger, Spicy Jalapeno Burger, Crisply Chicken Sandwich, and the Beyond Burger. Homemade flatbreads cost $14 and include Pepperoni, Pesto Caprese, Crafthouse, Club and Margherita. Signature dishes ($14-28) include Fish & Chips, Steak & Fries, Double Cut Brined Pork Chop, Bourbon Chicken, Wild Salmon, Spicy Tequila Shrimp Fettuccine, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Sizzling Fajitas, and Shrimp & Crab Enchiladas. A special kids menu and Sunday brunch menu is available.

Live music outdoors is available Thursday–Saturday night and all day Sunday. The NFL package is now available and many more TVs have been installed up and downstairs. Upstairs seating in now available all times instead of just during busy hours.

Eleven14 Craft House and Kitchen is open daily  11:14 a.m. – 11:14 p.m. and is available for events, rehearsal dinners, and more.

At 7 PM last night there was one single person eating at the restaurant. Granted, it’s new and it was Monday, but still not off to a roaring start.

  2. steve engles says:

Sunday it was packed with all kinds of people–some watching TV, some eating, some tourists.
Half price food and wine—what more could you ask for?

  3. Milo says:

The only thing appealing about this is the hot chick sitting on the bench in the first photo?

  4. John says:

Who are the owners of this?

  5. steve engles says:

Owners are same people who owned Pizza Mizza in La Cumbre Mall and also own the restaurant on the other side of La Arcada Mall.

  6. Kristen says:

When will restaurants stop buying those awful cheap metal chairs????

    Hi John
thanks for posting this…the menu looks good and affordable, but I’ll give them a little time to organize…I was planning on trying the new concept last night, the Yelp reviews looked good, (and I had even decided what I would probably order)…but we went at 9:15 and they were already closed, they might need to re-think their hours, not too many restaurants are open after 9:00 during the week, so if they do stay open (until 11:14) they will probably be busy
