QUESTION OF THE DAY

Hey there!
I’m a TV producer in Studio City and I’m trying to get in contact with John Dickson for one of our food shows! We’d love to have him be our guest as we sample some of the amazing food in Santa Barbara. If someone could please forward my email to him or let me know how I can get in contact with him that would be wonderful.

Should I do this? It seems to me that this would be the job of a culinary artist or a food critic. “Tastes great!” and “I’m sure the chef meant well” are the extent of my reviewing skills.

    Of course you should do it! I can’t think of anyone more qualified. And when they talk to you, don’t forget to mention that SB is badly in need of more BBQ restaurants.

    you cover the restuarants – you would be a neutral observer and that is why they contacted you. chef’s et al are biased – if you are covering the various eateries, you can commnet on your observations…

    Independently of whether you are, or not, a good “choice” for that (which I believe you are), they might want to revise their perspective on the ” amazing food in Santa Barbara.” in view of the dismal votes that this ” amazing food” just got from the Michelin !
