Readers Steve H. and Annie let me know that a sign for Oppi’s Bistro brought to you by “The Latteria” has been posted at 1026 State Street, the former home of Palazzio which closed in 2015. Steve H. points out that  “latteria” means dairy in Spanish.

I believe “latteria” is Italian for “dairy.” In Spanish, it would be “lecheria.” No biggie. Just sayin’.

It’s gonna be an Ice Cream shop?? Loved Palazzio. Had my own table there and the staff knew what I wanted and how I wanted it prepared when I walked in. This is such a shame.
