WHAT: Los Olivos’ The Bear and Star, serving “Refined Ranch Cuisine” inspired by the Parker family at the eponymous Fess Parker Wine Country Inn celebrates Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 22, 2018, with a Thanksgiving Dinner, served buffet style. The menu is designed by Chef John Cox to give family cooks a rest on this grand holiday.

The bountiful Thanksgiving Dinner offers buffet stations staged throughout the restaurant designed to satisfy everyone in the family circle. Begin your meal with appetizers including Roasted Beet Salad with Winter Greens; Farm Salad with Sprouts and Goat Cheese; Crispy Brussel Sprouts with Roasted Garlic-Thyme Compound Butter; Smoked Salmon Rillette with Lemon and Caper; Baked Brie with Blood Orange Marmalade; and The Bear and Star Cornbread with Brown Butter. For the main course, guests will savor the carving station which features Smoked Fess Parker Ranch Heritage Turkey; Smoked Berkshire Pork Tenderloin with Third Window Beer Mustards; Fess Parker Ranch Wagyu Bresaola with Estate Red Wine and Bing Cherry Mostarda; Chorizo-Cornbread Stuffing; Farm Cave Mushroom Stuffing; Giblet Pan Gravy; Hibiscus Cranberry Sauce with Orange and Ancho; Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes; Firebox-Roasted Yams with Mezcal Marshmallow and Smoked Almond; Roasted Prime Rib with Horseradish Crème Fraîche; and Sautéed Winter Greens. For dessert, there is Chef Cox’s famous Pie Bar featuring traditional Pumpkin Pie; Chess Pie; and Apple Cobbler Squares.

Pricing is $59 per adult, $20 for children 12 and under, and excludes tax and gratuity.
