Reader Primetime tells me that Firehouse Subs 6530 Seville Road in Isla Vista shut down operations after just a few months. I found it interesting that Firehouse Subs opened for business just before students left town for the summer and then closed after they returned. A sign on the door reads:

“Thank you Isla Vista and UCSB. Firehouse subs will be closing for business. Happy Holidays.”
