A First World problem if ever I heard one. I get similar angst when my caviar spoons rust!

    • For heaven's sake... says:

A first-world problem? The U.S. is a first-world country, the last time I looked. You’d rather be reading about a cholera epidemic on Indio Muerto Street? How snarky.

Added a new one this morning:

Life lesson #863: Don’t use ant bait traps when the line of ants is coming into the room from a power socket. Bait traps will cause them to swarm, swarming ants turn power sockets into loud bug zappers, then the circuit blows.

  3. Rex Of SB says:

Wow, how cool is THAT! I’d think the pyrotechnics would well be worth a trip outside to reset the circuit breaker. I like a bit of cabaret with my ant killing. You just can’t get that with Hydrex.

  4. Christine says:

The ants have been horrible during this dry time, haven’t they? I find them in every room of our house! Just cruising around, looking for water I assume. Thanks for sharing that life-lesson, John, I will not set a trap near an outlet!
