Any chance you can do a quick mention of which restaurants in town have air conditioning?  I have guests to entertain this weekend and can’t think of a place that will be comfortable and good at 6 p.m.

Endless Summer…great breeze and view…oh, and the food is good too!!!!

Tre Lune, at 1151 Coast Village Road has air conditioning, and tables outside for dining. They also have what I think is the best Northern Italian cuisine that I’ve ever had, fresh ingredients, and excellent service. It’s quite popular so I suggest you call them at 805-969-2646 and make a reservation.

  5. Cafe Stella says:

Cafe Stella, 3302 McCaw Ave, right above Gelson’s. We have
air conditioning all day, as well as tables outside in the shade on
    the patio!

John do you, or anybody, know why such a HOT new restaurant
“Anchor Wood Fire” on lower State St. so abruptly

It seems that investors pulled the plug….why??? Shocking! I was just there, the place was buzzing as usual, the food was fabulous. Sigh…..

Kind of such a general question, maybe should have said what kind of cuisine you like and what you are willing to pay? If you go out on the wharf which would have to be cooler you can hit Mobys on the lower end or the harbor restaurant on the higher end as out of towners probably want to see the ocean etc. Brophy if can get the view or Endless Summer or Chucks maybe would work for you too and Boathouse for the views.

And Cafe Stella has fantastic food!!!!
