Life Lesson #62: keep your expensive clothes in a garment bag even if they are just hanging in your closet. Last weekend I discovered that a wool-loving carpet beetle found its way in to my closet and chewed holes in my favorite Italian-cut suit resulting in complete destruction. Or perhaps someone secretly borrowed my suit, was hit by a hail of bullets and survived, then secretly returned it.

    closet marauders!

John, I was attacked too (well, in my case not bullets). Hopefully, you didn’t discover it the night of a big event like I did. That is the worst time to scramble for a Plan B.

I discovered it on the road in San Francisco, an hour before I attended an event where I was honored. I looked like Al Pacino at the end of Scarface (“say hello to my little friend!”).

John, all is not lost, take your suit to a “reweaver”, they work miracles. If you need the name of a good one, let me know, he is in a hole in the wall shop in Studio City, but has saved me several times.

How is this “off topic” apparently that suit is delicious. Perhaps not best to advertize that fact.

Barry I would love to know the name of that reweaver in Studio city.
