Reader Chris tells me that “Bash“, a new wood-fired oven ‘gastropub’, is getting set to open within the Uptown Lounge on Upper State St.  I’m told they will use local and seasonal ingredients on their wood-fired, thin crust pizzas, piadinas, sliders, and BBQ.  Bash will offer artisanal meats and cheeses, salads, and daily specials.  They will do dine-in, take-out, and catering.
