Celebrate Easter with Brunch Prepared by Chef Bradley Ogden

Solvang, April, 2011 – Reservations are still available at Root 246  for the region’s finest Easter brunch this Sunday, April 24, as Chef Bradley Ogden and his team showcase the best of what local growers are offering this spring. Brunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pricing as follows: $34.50 – Adults, $39.50 – Brunch with Champagne, $45.00 – Unlimited Bloody Marys and Brunch, $16.50 – Children (ages 12 and under). Sample Menu Items: 

Morning Foods
   –  Oven baked French toast, organic strawberries, and homemade maple syrup
   –  Banana beignets with homemade preserves
   –  Assorted hearty sausages
   –  Traditional eggs Benedict, English muffins, ham, hollandaise sauce
   –  Spanish frittata

Carved Offerings
   –  Oak-fired tri-tip, horseradish crème fraiche
   –  Honey-baked ham, pineapple glaze

Seafood & Small Plates
   –  Salmon lox and cream cheese, bagels, capers, chives, sieved eggs, tomato
   –  Coastal ceviche with lime

Market Salads
   –  Organic romaine Caesar salad, garlic butter-parmesan croutons
   –  Market crudite with house green goddess dressing

Poultry and Vegetables
   – “Shake n’ bake Petaluma chicken,” Fuji apples, organic raisins
