Like every year I have been receiving many inquiries asking if I will be publishing a list of restaurants open for Christmas. I have never bothered creating a Christmas Guide for the following reason: Unlike Thanksgiving where everyone wants to know who serves a traditional turkey dinner on Thanksgiving day, everyone who inquires about Christmas is asking me a different question. For example:
- Will you be publishing a list of restaurants open on Christmas?
- Will you be publishing a list of restaurants open on Christmas Eve?
- Will you be publishing a list of restaurants open for dinner on Christmas Eve?
- Will you be publishing a list of restaurants serving a holiday dinner on Christmas Eve?
- Will you be publishing a list of restaurants open on Christmas Day?
- Will you be publishing a list of restaurants open for dinner on Christmas Day?
- Will you be publishing a list of restaurants serving a holiday dinner on Christmas Day?
- Will you be publishing a list of restaurants serving brunch on Christmas Day?
- Will you be publishing a list of restaurants serving a holiday brunch on Christmas Day?
Unfortunately I cannot create 9 different Christmas Guides and, keep in mind, a list of every place open would include McDonald’s. If you can find the time please send me an email with your thoughts about what should be in a Christmas Guide.
