A and J Limousine was started in 2003 and is a locally owned Santa Barbara Limo/Transportation Company operated by Andrea and Justin Plackett. Our company was started with one limousine and operated by word of mouth for the first year of business! Since our start, A and J Limousine in Santa Barbara has added a variety of different vehicles to service our clients in the Santa Barbara area and surrounding areas.

Santa Barbara Airport

Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA) is 7 miles west of downtown Santa Barbara, California. It is near the University of California, Santa Barbara and the city of Goleta. Several airlines serve or plan to serve the airport with non-stop flights to Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Phoenix, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, and other destinations. More than 700,000 passengers use the airport annually.

Santa Barbara Train Station

The Santa Barbara Train Station is served daily by Coast Starlight trains to and from Los Angeles, Oregon and Washington, Amtrak California's Pacific Surfliners to and from San Diego and Los Angeles, with some trains extending north to San Luis Obispo, and Amtrak Motor Coach service to the San Joaquin trains and to some Pacific Surfliners. The station is fully staffed, with ticketing, checked baggage and package express service available.

Downtown & Waterfront Shuttles

MTD’s Downtown-Waterfront Shuttles are sponsored by the City of Santa Barbara to provide frequent shuttle service along busy State Street and the Waterfront area. Transfers are required when traveling between the Downtown Shuttles and the Waterfront Shuttles.

Greyhound

Greyhound is an intercity bus common carrier operating 100+ routes and serving over 3,800 destinations across North America. Greyhound's scheduled services compete with the private automobile, low-cost airlines, Amtrak, and other intercity coach bus companies. Greyhound bus lines serves the majority of the lower 48 states in the United States, and they also extended their services into Canada and Mexico.

Santa Barbara Airbus

Santa Barbara Airbus was founded in 1983 as a locally owned and operated company. They offer 16 scheduled trips daily between Los Angeles International Airport with stops in Goleta, Santa Barbara and Carpinteria. The earliest bus departs Santa Barbara at 3:50 a.m. to arrive at LAX by 6 a.m. and the last pickup from LAX is at 10 p.m. The Airbus operates the same schedule every day and is open every day except Christmas and Thanksgiving.

The Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District, with its focus on passenger service, provides reliable, safe, comfortable mobility to those who lack other transportation, including students, the elderly and individuals with disabilities who have access to bus stops. MTD also provides an attractive transportation option for commuters and shoppers who might otherwise drive cars.
