Vision

"Be a healthy, Biblical community of God's people, praying, blessing, and serving others in the name of Jesus Christ."

Free Methodist Church is committed to developing holistic lives of service and fellowship with God and each other. They support, encourage, and create opportunities for people to actively live out faith. They see all of life, in its ordinary and extraordinary forms, as ministry. Their vision as church in Santa Barbara is to create "healthy biblical communities of holy people multiplying disciples, leaders, groups and churches." And they have multiplied. Since their beginnings in 1955, Free Methodist Church's congregation has grown to include three worship services and have also planted a congregation in Goleta.

For Free Methodist Church, the worshipful Christian life has always been more than just Sunday morning. During the week, their Mesa facility serves the most immediate needs of their most immediate neighbors through their Cliff Drive Care Center. Here, they run a fully licensed preschool and kindergarten readiness program as well as an after-kindergarten and after-school program. Additionally, they have a Senior Luncheon program they operate with many of their senior friends in the Villa Santa Fe retirement center across the street from the church. Alongside their presence on the Mesa, their aim is to support all of their church members in building lives of service.

The Free Methodist Church welcomes you to come and join them in their worship of God and their service to the community.
