About

El Camino Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church located in Goleta, California. They are grounded in the Reformed tradition and are wholeheartedly committed to the authority of the Bible and the centrality of Jesus Christ, the one and only Savior of the world. Their worship is Christ-centered, with traditional hymns, preaching that is based on and faithful to the Scriptures, and communion every week.

Beliefs

As Reformed Presbyterians they are unreservedly committed to the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as the divinely inspired Word of God. They accept them as the only infallible rule of faith and life. They believe, in broad summary, in the one sovereign, triune God; that he directly created the world from nothing; that he directly created mankind as a unique being, in communion with God; that mankind broke that communion by sinning against God, and earned eternal punishment; that in grace God responded to that sin by establishing a covenant to send his Son, Jesus Christ, to save his people from their sins; that Jesus came, died in the place of sinners, and earned eternal life for all who believe in him; and that Jesus was resurrected to life, ascended into heaven, and will come again to judge the world and receive into the presence of God forever all who have believed in him. El Camino Presbyterian Church rejoices that our full salvation is secured by Christ. Salvation is not because of what they do; it is all by God's free grace, received by faith in Jesus Christ and based on his work on our behalf.
