The small and intimate Santa Barbara Eastside Library has about 20,000 volumes and a circulation of around 80,000 books a year. The library has an increasing focus on computer usage and Internet access.
With easy and free parking, this library serves as community gathering place. There are a lot of community meetings in the neighboring King center. A bilingual education and playtime program is available, which stems from a grant from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation.
