The Carpinteria Community library is well used by residents. There is a good selection of books locally, computers, and videos. The library itself is a wonderful adobe with a front porch and plenty of nooks for reading and contemplating your current book. The only drawback is parking isn't always easy to find, so make sure to check the side streets.
